(410)962-2708 This proposed procurement is unrestricted, SIC 8741, $5
million. Estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and
$5,000,000 for base plus two option years. The United States Army
anticipates awarding a firm fixed price indefinite delivery type
contract to provide environmental planning and management support for
the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Belvoir. The services include preparation
of the installation's natural resources management plans, including
Natural Resources Management Plan; Endangered Species Management Plan;
Integrated Pest Management Plan; preparation of the installation's
cultural management plans and documentation, including HABS/HAER and
cultural Resources Management Plan, preparation of the installation's
NEPA documents, planning and design services; wildlife, fisheries and
aquatic field studies and vegetation field surveys; wetlands
delineation and mitigation projects; timber inventories and timber
management activities, wildlife refuge management; watershed studies;
storm watermanagement programs; oversight of integrated pest management
and grounds maintenance programs; landscape design and installation;
outdoor/environmental education projects; cultural resources assessment
and studies, to include historical property assessment and management
and archeological surveys; topographic surveys; GIS database
development; and, design and preparation of graphic displays,
interpretive trail markers and interpretive brochures. Large business
firms are required to submit a subcontracting plan. The subcontracting
goals are 65% for small business, 15% for small disadvantaged business
and 8% of women owned small business. The subcontracting plan does not
have to be submitted at bid opening. In order to comply with Debt
Collection Improvement Act of 1996, effective April 1, 1998, all
contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration
(CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Contact CCR Web
