Mitchell (301) 504-8484 DESC: This requirement is being procured using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13 as an RFQ. The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to non-competitively negotiate with Honeywell Building Services Division, 1766 Old Meadows Lane, McLean VA, 22102 for maintenance of our Honeywell Graphic Central System, which monitors the following building operations: fire, heating, security, utility alarms, air conditioning, humidity, building temperatures, and assorted research projects for various buildings at BARC, Beltsville, MD. Provides software and hardware support, inspection, cleaning, repair, replacement of parts and emergency response. Honeywell is considered to be the one and only responsible source to satisfy this requirement because they have proprietary rights over the software, upgrades and controller devices. Period of performance: base period from May 17, 1998 to May 17, 1999 and 4 option years. The Standard Industrial Code will be 7382 with annual business size of 9.0 million.
