Contracting Officer, 717-770-7107 The Defense Distribution Depot San
Joaquin, CA (DDJC) which includes DDJC -- Tracy site in Tracy, CA and
DDJC -- Sharpe site in Lathrop, CA has a requirement for a contractor
to provide all services, management, labor, material, equipment,
controls and engineering necessary to provide a complete, turnkey high
density bin storage material handling system ready for operation. This
system shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Base
contract line items for the Tracy site: 1 Bin Shelving Storage System
(with a minimum of 381,912 total gross cubic feet of storage and 20
order picking carts), 1 Package/Tote Conveyor System, and 2000 Totes;
Option contract line items for the Tracy site: 4 StockChaser Vehicles,
1 Equipment Telecommunication Cable Tray System, 1 Equipment
Monitoring, Control and Data Acquisition System, 1 Closed Circuit
Television (CCTV) System, 4000 Totes, 1 Bin Shelving Storage System
Polystyrene Shelf Box Containers, and 1 Bin Shelving Storage System
Fiberboard Shelf Box Containers; Option contract line items for the
Sharpe site: 1 Bin Shelving Storage System (with a minimum of 86,163
total gross cubic feet of storage and 8 order picking carts, 1 Tote
Conveyor System/Modification, 1 Bin Shelving Storage System Polystyrene
Shelf Box Containers and 1 Bin Shelving Storage System Fiberboard Shelf
Box Containers. The Government requires final acceptance of the
complete system (base and option contract line items) within 365 days
following the date of contract award. If the Government requires the
option contract line items within the limits and at the rates to be
specified in the solicitation package. The Government anticipates to
exercise the options by written notice to the Contractor within 12
weeks from the date of contract award. Date and time for the
PreProposal Conference/Site Visit will be indicated in the solicitation
package. This acquisition is unrestricted. All responsible sources may
submit an offer which shall be considered by this agency. Requests for
