The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command intends to conduct a non-competitive negotiation to procure additional Depot Maintenance Support Services with Hughes Aircraft Co. (Raytheon). This will be in addition to the existing Hughes Aircraft Co.,Time and Material (T&M) Contract DAAB07-96-D-S619, for the repair of Firefinder System Assemblies. The additional effort to be added to this Contract includes an increase to the Contract ceiling, and the repairs of the Sentinel system assemblies. Only Hughes (Raytheon) as prior developer and manufacture possesses the essential technical background and experience to provide the repair services for these system assemblies. The Government does not possess a fully validated competitive Technical Data Package for this acquisition. There is only one responsible source that will satisfy the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
