CANCELLATION OF NEW CONTRACT FORMAT FOR CECOM ACQUISITION The purpose of this notice is to inform industry that the plan for CECOM to test a new contract format, which was slated for 6 April 1998, has been cancelled. The original plan was for all Army Materiel Command (AMC) activities to test a simplified contract format through the period ending 20 Dec 2000. AMC has now cancelled this plan. Accordingly, CECOM will continue to utilize the Uniform Contract Format cited in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 14.201-1 and 15.204-1.
