The contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to upgrade portions of the primary electrical system serving Building 101 from 4.16 KV to 26.4 KV. Building 101 houses Naval Aviation Depot and consists of hangars, warehouses, shops, administrative offices, and test facilities. Demolition includes five oil-filled high-voltage switches, approximately 17,000 feet of paper-insulated lead-clad cable, and one 750/1000 KVA dry-type transormers. Installation includes an indoor 750/1000 KVA cast-coil transformer, six high-voltage pad-mounted switches, an overcurrent relaying cabinet, approximately 7500 feet of high-voltage cable, a manhole and approximately 1000 feet of underground duct bank. Work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to production schedules.
