Supply 1200 cubic yards of aggregate base, meeting the State of Alaska Department of Transportation Specification Section 703 for D-1 gradation. Submit sieve analysis for approval prior to shipping materials. Transport aggregate base to the barge landing at Bartlett Cove, Glacier Bay National Park, which is restricted to high tides. The Bartlett Cove barge landing site is not equipped with permanent mooring devices or dolphins. The barge must be capable of securing itself in position without the use of these devices. Once secured for unloading, it must remain at landing until all material is unloaded. The estimated unloading time is two full calendar days. The barge will than be able to debark upon the next high tide after unloading has been completed. Must be received in May, 1998. (0105)
