A long term requirements type contract is planned. This will be a Best Value type acquisition. Maximum projected requirements are for a total of 142,935 lbs of decontaminating resin to be provided over the 5 year term of the requirements contract. The resin is a blend/mix of chemical components. The blending procedure must be done in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration. FOB is Destination. For use on the M291 Skin Decontamination Kit. Estimated issue date is 5/1/98.
