The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to procure, on a sole-source basis to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ, for the design, development, fabrication, installation, test, documentation and a non-recurring ECP of an upgraded computer system in the AN/USM-659(v)2 Guided Weapons Test Station (GWTS) controller. Raytheon Missile Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the GWTS and is the only know firm with the experience, knowledge, and technical expertise to fulfill this requirement.
