The Naval Undersea Warface Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) anticipates placing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under Unrestriected competitive parameters utilizing "Brand Name or Equal" criteria for the following item: Nitro60 from Artesyn Communication Products. The item is a 32-bit single board computer and the required quantity is 59 each. The item will be integrated into the Automatic Direction Finding (ADF) system. Any offeror proposing "equal" equipment must clearly demonstrate that the "equal" equipment will integrated directly ino the ADF system and that the proposed "equal" equipment meets all specification and system operation requirements. "Equal" products will be required to pass First Article Test. Required delivery is destination at (NUWCDIVNPT) in Newport, RI. Five of the required 59 items will be delivered 60 days after contract award with the remaining 54 items delivered 120 days after contract award. The Standard Industrial Code is 3577. The size standard is 1000 employees. A competitive solicitation utilizing low responsible offeror criteria, including past performance and technical capability, will be issued.
