The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for engineering/technical services in support of the BQQ-5/Trident, BSY-1, BSY-2, BQG-5, New Attack Submarine Programs and their associated arrays and interfacing hardware. Tasks will include environmental analysis, engineering analysis, sea tests design and sea test preparation, dockside and at-sea test support, modeling and simulation, special purpose hardware fabrication and software /algorithm development. A 60 month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (CPFF) contract is planned. The total estimated level of effort is 80,000 hours. Key labor categories will include Program/Project Manager (5,000 hours), Sr. Systems Engineer (9,000 hours), Sr. test Engineer (9,000 hours), Design Engineer (2,500 hours), Structural Designer (2,500 hours) and Analyst III (5,000 hours). Best value award methodology will be employed with evaluation factors including Technical Capability (Personnel, Technical Approach, Management Approach and Past Performance) and Cost. Use of oral presentations is planned. A single award will be made. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. The SIC Code is 8711/$20 Million Dollars.
