The overall objective of this effort is twofold: (1) to provide the Department with nationally representative information about the extent, severity, cost, and sources of errors associated with the certification/recertification and rent calculation process for assisted renter households; and (2) to provide statistically reliable estimates of income and rent determination effors in the Public Housing and Section 8 programs. The period of performance is 48 months with a 1-year base period and three (3) 1-year option periods. This solicitation will be issued tentatively on 05/26/98.
