This projects consists of the reconstruction of 1,050 linear feet of a hiker only trail plus an option item for reconstruction and obliteration of five campsites at Lake Serene. Work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, excavation, construction of structures (turnpikes, 55' footlog bridge, puncheon approach ramps), surfacing, barriers, trail stairways, and benches. Extensive use of helicopters will be required to mobilize materials and equipments. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about May 1, 1998. Estimated start work date for this project is on or about June 15, 1998. Contract work time is approximately 90 calendar days. The Government's estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Payment security will be required for this project. (0104)
