The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment for constructing the Item 502-L(R) levee enlargement and berms in Issaquena County, Mississippi. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, levee embankment, berm embankment, corrugated metal pipes, sand-clay-gravel or stone surfacing, stone ditch protection, mowing and turfing, reforestation, removing and salvaging existing cattle guards and bedding beams, furnishing and installing new cattle guards and bedding beams, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.
