The work includes the removal and the replacement of the under-floor electrical distribution system to the open office areas. The work includes the removal of exisitng transformers, bus duct, panelboards, conduit and wiring as well as the installation of new panelboards, harmonic removing transformers, conduit, wiring and all incidental related work. The solicitation will be issued May 05 1998. The Bid opening date will be Jun 04 1998. The SIC Code is 1731. The estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. 2. This contract also includes proprietary equipment as follows: Power Quality International-3.75kVA DZV Harmonic Removing Transformers. 3. The proposed contract is subject to the evaluation criteria set forth in DFAR 252.219-7008, Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvanataged Business Concerns, Construction Acquisition Test Program (APR 1996). There is a NON-REFUNDABLE charge for Plans and Specifications. Offerors interested in obtaining the plans and specifications for this project must submit their request along with a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Money Order, or VISA in the amount of $35.00 to : DEFENSE AUTOMATED PRINTING SERVICE (DAPS), 47 CHANDLER ST, NEWPORT RI 02841-1712.
