Basic ordering Agreement (BOA) was awarded to Thiokol Corporation, Defense and Launch Vehicle Division, P.O. Box 689, Brigham City, UT 84302-0689 on 7 May 1997 for a total estimated amount of $250,000.00. The BOA has a two (2) year period of performance from 7 may 1997 through 7 May 1999. This BOA is for design, development, and fabrication of Advanced Expendable Countermeasures. Tasks involved are in direct support of the countermeasures and include modifications made to existing countermeasures that Thiokol has previously developed in order to verify effectiveness against newly identified threats. From its inception to date, the Government has issued orders totaling approximately $198,359.00. It is anticipated that this expenditure rate will continue through the expiration of the BOA.
