Basic ordering Agreement (BOA) was awarded to Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc, 100 Locke Road, Wilmington, DE 19809-3513 on 22 April 1996 for a total estimated amount of $7,500,000.00. The BOA has a three (3) year period of performance from 22 April 1996 through 22 April 1999. The effort also includes two option years that, if exercised, would increase the performance period through 22 April 2001. This BOA is for design, development, and fabrication of Special material Countermeasure Devices (SMCD) and systems. Tasks involved are in direct support of the SMCDs from the concept exploration phase through the manufacturing development phase and into limited production in some instances. From its inception to date, the Government has issued orders totaling approximately $2,047,569. It is anticipated that this expenditure rate will continue through the expiration of the BOA.
