This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1PI-Q-0058-98 is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), the solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The standard industrial classification code is 3555. The purchase is for Micro Recharger. The requested brand is Per-Fil Industries, Model MR-1, micro recharger, filler support table, mounted toner filler with bag dispenser. Each recharger should have a different type of tooling: "NX, SX, & EX. Quantity: 3 U/I: each. Auger tooling for dispensing, dust control system and crating shall be included in price. FOB Destination point: Federal Correctional Institution Taft, CA. Delivery is no later than 15 days after the receipt of order. Quotes may be submitted on Standard Form (SF) 1449 or letterhead stationary and shall indicate the solicitation number, opening date and time, name, address, and telephone number of the quoter. This will be a firm-fixed price definite quantity contract. Award will be all or none. Award will be made without discussions to responsive/responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price related factors. Quoter must hold prices firm for not less than 30 days from the bid opening date. Quoters are advised to include a completed copy of Provision 52.212-3, Bidder Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with your quote. Any quote that fails to furnish the required representations and certifications, or which rejects or changes any terms and conditions, may be rejected and excluded from consideration.
