This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for parts for the Electric Power Plant III (EPP-III). The part numbers (P/N) for the items are as follows: P/N 0418 9268, Pump, Fuel; P/N 0117 9133, Starter, Assembly; P/N 0418 3617, Turbocharger LH; P/N 0418 3618, Turbocharger RH; P/N 0414 3818, Fuel Injector; P/N 0418 8746, Cylinder Head Assembly; P/N 0418 4245, Drive Coupling Assembly; P/N 0418 7946, Block. The current source for these parts is Deutz Service International GMBH, Koeln, Germany, Cage D2689. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-P-EC, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with an item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the item from the current supplier.
