Administration (NASA), Office of Space Science is releasing a NASA
Announcement of Opportunity (AO 98-OSS-05), entitled Solar-B. This
opportunity solicits flight investigations suitable for objectives of
the Solar-B mission of the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science
of Japan. Participation is open to U.S. Principal Investigator-lead
Teams with Co-Investigators from all categories of U.S. organizations,
including industry, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations,
NASA centers, and other Government agencies. This solicitation will be
open through August 3, 1998. Upon the release date, specific guidance
for proposal preparation will be available electronically from the
World Wide Web by selecting "Research Opportunities" at:
