The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)is searching for business workflow software to automate the existing corporate access control management process. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The purpose of this notice is to develop a list of qualified software products that can meet our business needs and requirements. Products on GSA schedule will be preferred. The software should be able to centrally control the processing, routing and implementation of requests for access to corporate information resources including applications, network and mainframe. Software should preferably reside on SQL Server or DB2 platform and communicate with all relevant FDIC information systems: NOS and OS -- Windows NT 4.0 and UNIX Solaris 2.4; DBMS -- SQL Server 6.5, Oracle 7.2.3, Sybase System 10 and MVS DB2 and E-mail system -- MS Exchange Server 4.0. Furthermore, the software should support electronic forms and electronic (digital) signature mechanisms. Corporate access control management involves about 200 users nationwide with varying tasks and responsibilities. The system should provide easy-to-use (preferably Windows-based) GUI and extensive and customizable reporting and query capabilities.
