Project consists of removing existing growth of Arundo donax, treat with herbicide, monitor and treat regrowth and other exotic plants as necessary on approximately 13 acres of affected riparian areas within Soledad Canyon, and approximately 10 acres of affected riparian in the headwaters of San Francisquito Canyon, Santa Clara/Mojave Rivers Ranger District, as funding allows. Treatment will consist of using a combination of hand cutting, mechanical treatment, and application of the herbicide Rodeo (where water is present) or Roundup (where no water is present). Project consists of a Base Year plus 2 Option Years. Project is located in Los Angeles County, California. Scheduled issue date for this Solicitation is May 4, 1998.
