Schultz, Contracting Officer tel:301/402-2851 The Division of Safety, Radiation Safety Branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to extend its present contract with Communication Sciences Institute for a period of 3 months to allow for the recompetition of its Radiation Safety Survey Services. The extension will be negotiated under citation 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 based upon the contractor's unique ability to provide the services during this interim period. Sources may submit in writing a capability statement which demonstrates that they can meet the Government's requirements.
