The annual scope of work is based on estimated service calls, annual visual inspections, and function trip-checks to the electrical system on Governors Island, NY. The definite quantity items are Annual Visual Inspections of transformers and switches and function trip-checks of the building 130 substation circuit breakers and bus ties. The general scope of service calls shall consist of but not necessarily be limited to the following: a. Repairing 5 KV system conductors b. Replacement of 5 KV breakers and switches to restore power loss c. Providing portable poer to buildings experiencing power loss. d. Providing replacement and repair of splices and terminations. e. Providing all testing required to maintain and evaluate the 5 KV electrical system. The award to be made as a result of this quote is a firm fixed price indefinite quantity multi-year contract with four option years. The indefinite quantity items are service calls that are required on an as needed basis. Solicitation packages issue on or about May 1, 1998 and can be requested in writing. Requests will be honored until supply is exhausted. Quotes are due by 4:00 p.m. May 20, 1998. This service is pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is unrestricted.
