H -- GONORRHEA SCREENING CULTURE: QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ACCURACY ASSESSMENT SOL 98S164(N) DUE 060598 POC Margie Usry, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6757 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) contemplates award of a one year contract to conduct in a scientifically sound manner a study of sexually transmitted disease (STD) and women's health clinics which will determine the association between specific quality control and quality assurance practices and the accuracy of N. gonorrhea screening cultures using gonococcal selective media. The Contractor shall be responsible for clinic recruitment, reference laboratory recruitment and oversight, on-site surveys of the clinics, oversight of study enrollment, and data entry and management of all study data. Written requests for copies of the solicitation will be honored if received within 15 days of the RFP issue date. Requests received after that date will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The date specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the RFP issue date which will be approximately May 6, 1998. Requests for copies of the RFP must cite the number.
