Wright Patterson Air Force Base is seeking possible sources for the maintenance of an EPI GEN II Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) System for fiscal year 1999 plus four option years. All services will be performed at Wright-Patterson AFB, Area B. The contractor shall supply all necessary maintenance, including but not limited to labor, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools, test equipment, transportation and other related services to keep the system in good operating condition as determined by the original manufacturer's specifications. All services shall be performed by maintenance personnel that have completed applicable maintenance training specified by the original equipment manufacturer for the maintenance of the equipment involved. In addition to the information requested in the paragraph below entitled "Capabilities Package," responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 7629, Electrical and Electronic Repair Shops, N.E.C. Businesses, including their affiliates, with annual receipts of $5,000,000 or less during the past 12 months are considered small. Sources with 8(a) status or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business should state accordingly in their responses. Capabilities Package: All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm's experience and capabilities in providing the above mentioned service. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The response must not exceed 10 single-spaced, typed pages.
