Written proposals on SF 1449 are due by 4:30 PM local time 5/7/98. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 97-04). Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 7629. Contractor shall show evidence of its ability, experience, and/or certification to perform such services per the manufacturer's technical standards and reliability requirements. Contractor will furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and transportation to perform a major refurbishment/upgrade to an 18 year old Clinac Linear Accelerator, Serial Number 096. The general work includes disassembly, replacement, modification and installation and/or repair of components in the modulator, drive stand, gantry, PSA, console/cardrack and spare parts. Also included is re-assembly,alignment, calibration and demonstration of machine performance. Bid packages must be requested in writing such requests may be made via FAX.
