The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, is seeking 8(a) qualified sources who can provide overall management support for AIR ASW programs involving the development and production of sonobuoys, ASW avionics and associated hardware. Requirements will include providing technical and program evaluations and services for the following AIR ASW programs: developmental sensor systems, production sonobuoys, and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) avionics. Technical engineering support and engineering analytical support to analyze program documentation and to provide recommendations on approaches will be required for the development of these and other Research and Development systems: Air Deployable Active Receiver (ADAR), Air Common Acoustic Processing (mission software for UYS-1), ATD Programs (Electro-Optic, Enhanced MAD, Radar), Extended Echo Ranging (including Advanced and Improved), and Generic Acoustic Stimulation System. In addition, support will be required to analyze program documentation such as ECPs, test plans and specifications and provide technical management support for the following sonobuoys: AN/SSQ-36, AN/SSQ-53, AN/SSQ-57, AN/SSQ-62, AN/SSQ-77, AN/SSQ-101, AN/SSQ-110. Technical and program evaluations support for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) avionics will also be required. Anticipated key labor categories include: Systems Scientist, Advanced Senior Systems Scientist, Senior Systems Program Analyst, Senior Systems Scientist, and Advanced Senior Systems Integration Specialist.
