NSWC-DAHLGREN DIVISION 7TH ANNUAL SMALL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY FAIR WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3, 1998 NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER -- DAHLGREN DIVISION 7TH ANNUAL SMALL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY FAIR Wednesday, June 3, 1998 The Naval Surface Warfare Center -- Dahlgren Divisions Deputy for Small Business is sponsoring a one day, on-site Opportunity Fair on Wednesday, June 3, 1998. This event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is aimed to give companies a chance not only to display their products/services, but also a chance to attend informative seminars on how to do business with NSWCDD. The first seminar at 9:30 a.m. will be given by Wanda Robinson and is titled "Is the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) for Real?". Then at 10:45 a.m. Phil Salmeri will give an Acquisition Reform Update: Past Performance, Far Part 15 Rewrite, Changes to Competitive Acquisition Process, and, Current Acquisition Reform Issues. There will also be exhibits and one-on-one government counseling tables available. As in the past, this year NSWCDD will be awarding small purchases to companies right on the spot! Your company could walk home with a small purchase on June 3, 1998. Just a sample of the products/services NSWCDD is looking for include: Laptops/Notebooks, Office Automation, Industrial Hardware, Networking, Air Conditioniong, Refrigeration, Multimedia, LAN/WAN, Office Supplies, Electrical, Services, Furniture, UNIX, Systems Integration, Automotive, Presentation Systems, Safety/Maintenance, Plumbing and Heating, and more. Some of the counseling tables which will be present include: Warfare Analysis & Systems Department, Systems Research and Technology Department, Weapons Systems Department, Strategic & Space Systems Department, Combat systems Department, Public Works Department, Naval Space Command, AEGIS Training Center, AEGIS Ship Combat Systems & Cruise Missile Division, and the Quality Engineering Division.
