The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, 600 Second Street, NE, Hopkins, MN 55343-8384 (ATK) for the first three years production of the EX419, Multifunction Fuze(MFF). The contract is anticipated to contain a base and two option years production for a total estimated quantity of 37,000 fuzes (14,000 for the base production period, and 8,000 and 14,000 for each respective option period). The EX419 MFF is intended for use on the 5"/54 and 76mm/62 Gun Ammunition. Note 22 Applies.
