(206) 764-2206 The VAPSHCS, Seattle Division, is attempting to locate
vendors who have developed commercial software applications that
incorporate automated data entry from a variety of diagnostic
audiometric devices. Vendors must be familiar with audiology protocols
and procedures and link existing hospital data systems and
commercially available software applications to our current audiometric
equipment. Features required include: Transfer of data directly from
diverse RS-232 equipped audiometers, real ear, ABR, OAE and immittance
systems; linkage with existing VA health care informational systems to
include CPRS (Centralized Patient Record System), ROES (Remote Order
Entry System for documenting hearing aid purchase transactions); QUASAR
(for workload accounting) as well as commercially available platforms
such as NOAH (for documentation, evaluation, and fitting of
programmable hearing aids); APHAB (Abbreviated Profile of Hearing Aid
Benefit for documenting patient outcomes) and Microsoft Office
Programs. System must be open-ended, flexible and allow for future
expansion. Vendors who are interested must respond in writing to the
Contracting Officer with company name, address, point of contact and
provide sufficient information regarding software to allow us to
determine potential suitability of software to meet our needs. Verbal
requests will not be honored. Responses must be received not later than
