Road, Suite 700, ATTN: M:P, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 B -- ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF IDENTIFYING TAX RETURNS FOR EXAMINATION SOL
TIRNO-98-R-00037 DUE 060498 POC Steve VanderLinden, (202) 283-1379
E-MAIL: Contracting Officer, steve.vanderlinden@ccmail.irs.gov. The
Internal Revenue Service is seeking an alternative method of
identifying tax returns which have a high potential for tax error and
ranking those returns according to their tax change potential. A
discriminant function method is presently being used; we are not
seeking other discriminant function methods, but alternative
state-of-the-art or innovative workload selection methodologies.
Systems must be computer-based or capable of effectively interfacing
with existing IRS computer technology. No telephone requests for the
solicitation will be honored. (0107) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0014 19980421\B-0003.SOL)
