Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistance and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Richmond, Virginia area. Estimated inmate days are 14,620 for the base period and 7,300 for the first, second, and third option years, respectively (75% male and 25% female). Estimated RFP issue date is May 19, 1998, estimated closing date is July 20, 1998. Contract base period is two years with three one-year option years to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated.
