R -- ANALYTIC AND WRITING SERVICES SOL PR-8-7104-0317 POC Maggie Weber, Contracting Officer, 703/648-7392, FAX 703/648-7901 The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to make a SOLE SOURCE award to Earthvision, Inc., 52 Cook Hill Road, Cheshire, Connecticut 06410. This procurement shall be processed under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. The purpose of this purchase order is to provide for the completion of an ongoing project to research, interpret, and synthesize data gathered from discussions and collaboration with scientists, project and program files, and the USGS data bases and present the information in digital and hard copy formats that are understood by non-technical audiences. The period of performance for this project is 12 months from the date of award. The Earthvision, Inc. is deemed the only responsible source capable of continuing with the required work and services. Any vendor who believes that he can provide the same service to the government as Earthvision, Inc., should contact the Contracting Officer listed here by COB April 22, 1998.
