The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, mobilization, and demobilization for the construction of a pre-engineered metal building for Sand and Urea Storage. The clear span building is approx. 52' x 78' (4,000 GSF), with an eave height of 23' that will ensure a minimum 28' clear interior working height. It shall be erected with a 8' thick reinforced concrete perimeter wall and two interior reinforced concrete partitions 6' high. The building has three 16' x 16' industrial overhead roll-up doors, galvanized metal louvers, translucent wall panels, ventilation fans and interior lighting. All structural steel, i.e., rigid frame, girts, purlins, columns, cross bracing, shall be factory painted epoxy. Steel roofing and wall panels shall have a special factory applied coating. All fasteners shall be stainless steel. Site development includes site clearing, a concrete slab, catch basins and gravel fill. The contract duration is 150 days from Bid Award including all submittalsthrough construction completion. Work shall be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC) in Kodiak, Alaska. The estimated price range is approximately $250,000 to $600,000.
