Exterior pair of classrooms will be separated by an accordion folding partition. The exterior finishes of the addition will match the existing finishes. Each classroom will have the existing telephone, lan, intercom, and video system extended into the rooms. The entire addition will be protected by extensions to fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems. Power and lighting are provided to each room. New gas-fired roof top units and ductwork will heat and cool the addition. Exterior work includes relocation of the existing 27" storm sewer. Two existing yard drains will be removed and four yard drains installed. The sanitary lines from the new restroom will drain into a new lift station. A new line from the lift station will be run adjacent to building and connect into an existing sanitary line. A limited quantity of earthwork, landscaping, and new sidewalk paving are also included. SIC code is 1542. Size standard is $17 million. Requirement is subject to availability of funds. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This acquisition is subject to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988; therefore, will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Subsequent award will be pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
