The intent is to provide and secure repair of roofs, the complete installation of new roof systems to existing structures at various locations, and any necessary preparatory work as required to make structures complete and ready for use. The work includes, but is not limited to, the demolition and removal of various existing roofing systems, flashing, counterflashing, cants, curbs, fascia, drip edge, roof insulation, decking, gutters and downspouts, blocking, and other incidental related work. The new work includes, but is not limited to, the repair of various existing roofing systems and the installation of a completely new roofing system, flashing, counterflashing, cants, curbs, roof insulation, roof decking (as required), raising curbs, drains, gutters and downspouts, and other incidental related work which provides a complete and usable facility after the work has been completed. This requirement shall be awarded as an Indefinite Quantity contract through sealed bidding. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The minimum guarantee is $200,000.00. The contract term will be for a period of one year with an additional 2 twelve-month option periods. This requirement shall be awarded to the low, responsive bidder provided a determination of responsibility is made. Issuance of the Invitation for Bid is scheduled for 19 May 1998.
