Stringer, Contracting Officer (407) 853-6146 The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, plant, and equipment necessary to remove the existing 4-ply built-up roofing and flashing system, install new roofing system (including flashing, insulation, expansion joint, multiple-ply modified bitumen roof membrane, gutter and downspouts), provide a complete lightning protection system, close capped roof opening, and repair damaged deck. The contractor will also de-energize, secure and remove HVAC condenser from structural steel support stand; and remove, modify and reinstall stand, recharge and reinstall condenser, and reconnect the electrical service to the condenser. This project requires the removal and disposal of asbestos-contaminated materials (ACM); i.e., base flashing and expansion joints. Period of performance is 70 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 4 May 98 and offer due date of 22 May 98 are tentative. The applicable SIC code and size standard for this acquisition are 1761/$7M. The estimated range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation is unrestricted.
