Z -- IQC CONTRACT FOR ROOFING AND RELATED WORK IN THE CLEVELAND, OH DISTRICT AREA SOL 232098-98-A-0048 DUE 052198 POC J. Robinson, (410) 997-6225 The contract resulting from this solicitation will include various roofing and related work type projects at postal leased and owned facilities in the following counties in the Cleveland OH District Area; Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Summit. At the discretion of the Contracting Officer, one or more contracts may be awarded. Contractors must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as of the date of issue in general construction work. Contractors must also possess the capabilities of working at least three to five jobs at the same time. Specific Work Order/s will be issued by the Contracting Officer in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule and Specifications. One or more "Work Orders" will be issued totaling not less than $10,000 nor more than $250,000 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The initial limit of $250,000 may be increased by modification as agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the maximum of $3,000,000. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number of Work Orders nor a specific amount. The contractor will not be required to perform work under any work order where the value of work in any one building is less than $2,000. Offerors will be required to submit one (1) "Multiplier" to be applied to the various Unit Prices established in the "Unit Price Schedule". The multiplier must contain the Offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. Packages will be available on or about April 21, 1998, at $50.00 per set, Non-Refundable, referencing Solicitation #232098-98-A-0048. Make checks/money orders payable to: USPS Disbursing Officer. Please do not send cash. Offers are due on May 21, 1998 @ 4:00 PM. Solicitation packages may be obtained at the Facilities Service Office, USPS, PO Box 701, Columbia MD 21045-0701. Offers sent via Express Mail may be delivered to the post office box. Personal visits and telephone calls for the purpose of discussing this project are discouraged. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offers, the amount of any one offer, or relative standing of the offer will not be disclosed to anyone except those postal personnel whose official duties require such information until award of contract is made.
