Command intends to issue a modification to Delivery Order 00006, under
Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0197 with General Atomics
Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), San Diego, CA to modifiy and
retrofit de-icing hardware on three Predator Air Vehicles, conduct
de-ice engineering hardware/software upgrades, and prepare an
engineering change proposal for developing de-icing kits for the
Predator System. GA-ASI is the sole designer, developer and supplier of
the Predator MAE UAV Air Vehicle, and as such is the only source with
the technical expertise and required data to meet the Government's
