Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) holds six contracts for
dialed number recorders (DNR) with the following companies: JSI
Telecom (Contract Number DEA-97-C-0053), Comverse Infomedia Systems,
Corp (Contract Number DA-97-C-0054), Bartlett Technologies Corporation
(Contract Number DEA-97-C-0055), RACOM, Inc. (Contract Number
DEA-97-C-0056), Recall Technologies, Inc. (Contract Number
DEA-97-C-0057), and Voice Identification, Inc. Contract Number DEA-97-
C-0058). These Contracts are in the first year of five year (base plus
four one-year options) contracts worth $25 Million each. The Drug
Enforcement Administration intends to incorporate by modification
proprietary equipment to enhance and network the performance of this
equipment for an average of $5 Million per year under each contract
(estimated). These contracts were awarded using commercial purchasing
procedures. The additional items include: Digital Trunk Interface
Cards, Trunk Extener Cards, Tactical loop extenders, Remote Dialed
Number Recorders, Rack Mount Enclosures, Conference Bridges and Bridge
Cards, power supplies, Loop ARound Inputs, Mounting Ears, Digital
Trunk Combiner Cards, T1 options and upgrades, E1 Conference Bridge
Inputs, Multi-Frequency Options, Digital Line Multiplexer Cards, and
Digital Dialed Number Recorders. This notice is for information
purposes only. No Solicitation is available. The Government will
proceed with these modifications fifteen (15) days after publication of
