This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is request for quotation, RFQ-98-Q-38, which will be accomplished in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. This is a firm fixed price requirement. The following FAR clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: FAR52.212-4 and 52.212-1, with FAR52-212-1(b)(8) and 52-212-1(e) being exempted for this procurement. CLIN 0010 Emcor Slope Front Rack SH-945365-00, 10 each. The frame, base and shelves will be painted Emcor BN-BR (smooth brown). The doors and sides will be painted Emcor EN-PT (smooth putty). The laminate shall be white. If quoting on a brand name equal, the manufacturer and model number must be stated in the quotation. Quoters proposing an equal product shall provide descriptive information in their quote that is sufficient for the Secret Service to make a determination as to the equality of the item quoted. The quoter shall deliver the items: (1) F.O.B. destination, inside deliver required; (2) within 45 days ARO; and (3) delivery shall be made to U.S. Secret Service-IRMD, Radio Communications Branch, 1310 L Street, NW, Room 800, Washington, DC 20223. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Quotations shall be sent to the U.S. Secret Service, Procurement Division, 1310 L Street NW, Suite 730, Washington, DC 20223, Attn; Robert Petrosky.
