The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following additional software licenses, maintenance, and technical support for software products manufactured and provided only by Centerline Software Incorporated. The Government requires these items to provide lifecycle support for Aegis tactical computer programs in support of US Navy Aegis class Cruisers and Destroyers. These items are required to maintain complete compatibility with existing Centerline Software currently utilized by Aegis Computer Center (ACC) at NSWCDD during Lifecycle Support Testing. Y2K compliance is required where applicable. The items are: (1) Objector License HP 1 PK (3 Ea.); (2) Media HP5 CD Bundled (1 Ea.); (3) Objector support Order Annual (3 Ea.); (4) Objectr Doc Set (4 Ea.); (5) Codectr License HP 1 Pk (4 Ea.); (6) Codectr Support Order Annual (4 Ea.); (7) Codectr Doc Set (4 Ea.); (8) Testctr License HP 1 Pk (4 Ea.); (9) Testctr Support Order Annual (4 Ea.); (10) Testcrt Doc Set (4 Ea.); (11) QC/Coverage License HP 1 Pk (3 Ea.); (12) QC/Cov Support Order Annual (3 Ea.); (13) QC/Coverage Doc Set (3 Ea.). Tactical Aegis computer programs are initially developed at Lockheed Martin, Moorestown, NJ. The computer programs are then delivered to the Aegis Computer Center (ACC) at NSWCDD to provide lifecycle support of theses AEGIS tactical computer programs. NSWCDD scientist and engineers provide lifecycle support by maintaining, updating, delivering, and installing the AEGIS tactical computer programs on US Navy AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers. The Centerline software will be installed on an ACC computer system by ACC system administrators. The system administrators will be considered to be the primary users of this software and will be responsible for contacting the vendor for support requests. The vendor must be able to provide technical support via telephone and via the Internet from the vendor's location. The vendor must provide a single telephone number to be used by ACC personnel when logging support requests. The vendor shall provide software support by electronic mail and/or telephone assistance to resolve Centerline software problems. This service shall be provided Monday through Friday from 0900 to 2100 eastern time. Calls made outside of these core hours shall be recorded by the vendor's answering mechanism. The Period Of Performance shall be for one year from data of award. Award is to be made utilizing Simplifies Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide their CAGE code, DUNNs number and TAX identification number.
