The Air Force SA-ALC/LDKAB Automatic Test Systems Branch intends to negotiate a Sole Source Engineering Services contract with Honeywell Inc., Military Avionics Division,2600 Ridgeway Parkway,Minneapolis, MN 55413-1719 to provide Software support for the AN/USM 603 Electronic Test Set (ETS). Honeywell's specialized equipment, expertise and previous experience with this test system make them uniquely qualified to provide these services. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. See note number 22. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
