T -- AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES DUE 050898 POC Lisa Peterson, (907) 586-8880 The Alaska Region of the Forest Service intends to award an aerial photography contract using other than full and open competition. The project is located on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska. Required product is 9.5 inch x 9.5 inch CIR Positive Transparencies, nominal scale = 1:30,000. Allowable date window is mid-June to August 1, 1998. Allowable time window is within 3 hours of solar noon local). Metric aerial camera with 6" focal length calibrated lense is required. Estimated linear flight miles: 1500 statute miles. These flights will supplement CIR photography flown in 1997. Total project was not flown in 1997 due to weather conditions. Contractor will review the 1997 flightlines to support 1998 flight line planning, i.e., filling in incomplete and unattempted flight lines from 1997. The proposed services will cost approximately $57,000, and we plan to issue a purchase order to AEROMAP US, Anchorage, Alaska on May 11, 1998. (0110)
