The Volpe Center plans to solicit a sole-source simplified acquisition purchase from Quality Management Solutions, LP for a four-day quality systems and auditor training workshop. The workshop will utilize attained knowledge and experience from previous FAA sponsored Quality Management Solutions LP courses in accordance with the Statement of Work included with the Request for Quotation. This requirement is a follow-on with Quality Management Solutions LP that refines the previously given Auditor Training Workshops, ("Effective Quality Auditing") as delivered in August, 1997. Small Business Firms classified under SIC Code 8299 that are interested in proposing on this requirement must demonstrate in writing to the Contracting Officer, no later than 15 days from the date of the synopsis publication that they: (1) possess the data relative to FAA Order 1100,159 Certification, Standardization and Evaluation Team (CSET) dated February 7, 1997, (2) possess the materials relevant to the previously given "Effective Quality Auditing" workshops given by Quality Management Solutions, LP in August, 1997 and (3) can demonstrate experience in the instruction and application of state-of-the-art aviation quality systems audit components, strategies and methodologies needed to provide such training. (4) Can provide the personnel and materials to edit course materials, preparing and teaching the required course in late June or early July, 1998.
