23 -- DUMP TRUCKS (USED) SOL RFQ-98-34 DUE 051998 POC Elida Monroe, Contracting Officer, 503-231-6188 <DESC>This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is FWS1-98-34(EM) for this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. Standard Industrial Classification Code 3531 applies. **Provide your written quotations for the following items. Quotation must include a total price for two dump trucks. The two dump trucks shall be ready for use and have the following minimum specifications but not limited to: -14 yards, 1988 or newer, color: white, engine -- 400+ horse power, diesel, 15 speed transmission, 15' long box-needs to be in excellent condition-steel box, heavy duty rear end 4; 11 or lower, power steering, air conditioning, tire tread 80%, fuel capacity 100 gallons, general conditions rating "good" or better, equipped-hitch to pull trailers, pintle hook, air, and electrical hookups, compression air break system, and 90 days warranty on power train. Offerors shall also be responsible for submitting all additional information on the above product necessary for the Government to Determine whether the product offered meets fair and reasonable price.
