This is a notice of intent to negotiate with L3 Communications Microcom Division, 965 Thomas Drive, Warminster, PA 18974 on an other than full and open competitive basis to provide troubleshooting/repair services on 15 each AN/URY-3 Relay, Reporter, Responder (R3) transponder radios in accordance with the Statement of Work that will be provided with written RFQ upon its' release. It is expected that between 5-10% of the government furnished radios will not be fully operational or within specified operational parameters. The Government intends to negotiate with Microcom to ensure that they are restored to full operational status prior to being returned to the government in accordance with a Statement of Work that will be provided. Delivery is required to be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland within 30 days after contract award.
