This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and therefore, a formal written solicitation will not be issued. MDA112-98-Q-0205 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small business. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to purchase the following: two (2) ea Studio-Aural Transmitter, Moseley Associates p/n: PCl 6010; two (2) ea Aural Encoder, Moseley p/n: DSP6000E2; one (1) ea Transmitter Transfer Panel, Moseley p/n: TPT-2; two (2) ea Antenna Connector Kit, Moseley p/n: KTL-7; two (2) ea Aural Studio-Receiver Link Receiver, Moseley p/n: PCL6020; two (2) ea Aural Decoder, Moseley p/n: DSP6000D2; and one (1) ea Power Receiver Combiner, Moseley p/n: PD 2000. The Brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government's minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. Detailed descriptions for the above items will be provided upon request. Standard commercial warranty required.
