This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Aydin Vector Division, P.O. Box 328, Newtown, PA 18940 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 2 each p/n MPBM-1553-103, 1553 Bus Monitors to be exact replacement items. Both mechanical and electrical properties (i.e. pin assignments, circuit configuration) must be identical to Aydin Vector monitors. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Aydin to ensure that the units are exact to meet the government requirement. Delivery is required to be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland within 30 days after contract award.
